About Me
Devon Bacon
As an experienced dog trainer, I have helped many families create happier and more harmonious homes. I enjoy working with pets of all breeds, ages, and sizes, and I approach each situation with patience and understanding. My training methods are balanced and reward-based, and my aim is to make training fun for both the dog and their owners. Whether you're looking for obedience training or have behavioral challenges to work through, I can help you and your furry friend achieve your goals together.
Services
Whether you're trying to develop a deeper understanding of your dog or you simply want to enrich their life, I've got you covered! After a free consultation to understand your family and needs, I help to build training and enrichment plans to help achieve your goals. I act as your accountability partner and strive to provide insight at every turn. My mission is to equip you with the tools you need to succeed and be happy.

Behavioral Training
Behavioral training can go a long way in helping to create an emotionally stable and confident dog. I can teach you how to work with your dog's natural motivations to create desirable behavior that you will both enjoy! This training is closely tied to the dog's emotional states and habitual nature. If you have a nervous dog that is reactive or easily triggered, this approach will be a life saver!

Command Training
Command training involves specific actions that you would like your dog to perform. This can range from the basics like come, sit, and stay to fun tricks like jumping through your arms. The skills you build here will help you clearly communicate with your dog. You'll want to be able to guide your dog effectively through our very human world. This is how you do that.

Walks & Enrichment
Walks and other forms of enrichment like tug or fetch are great to brighten your dog's day and release some of that excess energy. Mixing in some basic training in between bouts of play or reinforcing good habits on walks is always a great time! Large or excitable dogs are more than welcome! There is also the option for longer adventures like hikes and field trips.
